well I haven't even cleaned it yet. All were swc or full wc and a handful of hp. This little gun didn't have one hiccup and groups are fist size and smaller with holes touching. Anybody have trigger job recommendations??:D

Anybody have trigger job recommendations??
Since you already fired 500 rounds you pulled the trigger at least 500 times. I've found current S&W J frames smooth right out after 500 triggers pulls. If you still want more clean and lube the revolver, go to the range and fire 500 more rounds, clean and lube again and then pull the trigger a few hundred times more at home using snapcaps. That method will work almost as well as a professional trigger job but cost less and it's a lot more fun too!

Gota love those Bodyguard J frames...

Careful about trigger jobs on J-frames; that's a job best left for a good gunsmith. I had done action jobs on both K- and N-frames and thought I was pretty slick. I did jobs on two J-frames and on one, I had to replace the mainspring. On the other, I wisely limited my "smithing" to a bit of polishing with a rotary tool and very minor surgery on the trigger rebound spring. Note: this was back in the days before MIM parts.

My M637 is well past the 500-round mark and its trigger seems to be just fine. My M60 is up near 1,000 rounds and it's even smoother. However, these days, I have learned it's a good idea to have a bit stronger DA pull to avoid UD in a stress situation.

For one view of action jobs on J-frames, see Two Trigger Jobs at the Snubnose Files.
