.500 S&W Special

I can't find any data on the .500 S&W Special, save bullet weights and velocity.
I don't know it's pressure, case dimensions, or any ancillary reports or research on it.
Anyone know of a good source for info on this cartridge?
I think it'd make a great "thumper" at low pressures.

Check the Handloader web site. It seems to me they did an article in the magazine in the last few months, maybe a year.

Indeed it does.

Try talking to the folks at Ballistic Supply about their reduced loads. They have Starline once fired brass as well.
