I don't follow the prices on S&W L-frames, because I'm really not interested in an L frame.
However, I came across one yesterday, a 4", early 1990s production, wood grips, very very nice finish (probably 98-99%) and a fairly excellent trigger, at a shop for $319.
How's that price? I know (as I've stated many times) that Northern Virginia is a lot more expensive than other parts of the country, where the dealer has to give you a 20 just to take the gun off his hands .
If the price is good enough, I may add it to my collection even though I really don't like full underlug barrels.
