I am going to buy a 6.5 Grendel barrel; what maker do you suggest?

Yes, it's for a bolt gun; sorry fo the omission.

Well, most of the guys that wanted to make a grendel bolt action used a savage action because they are easy to swap barrels out. Some used a CZ action. I think you were looking at doing a ruger? Here is a thread from the 6.5 grendel forum that specifically mentions the ruger.

I would lean towards a Krieger, my experience with their barrels have been outstanding (though not chambered in a 6.5G.).

Saturn. Hands down! Cut rifled barrels in any length. I'm getting one of their Spartan barrels for my new build (18"bbl AR15)
