got a 6inch american eagle kukri from ex-kukri house off ebay (hasnt arrived yet.) anyone here use a small kukri or seen one in person? looks pretty slick.

OAL or blade? I had a little HI Biltong that I gave to a friend. Decent knife, just doesn't have the momentum I associate with a "real" kukri. That starts at about 14" OAL, depending on shape.

Kukri, Kuri house

I have been looking at these for a while, however, the shipping is more than the cost of the kukri's. Does anyone know of a US distributor for them? Thanks.

I ordered a Kukhri from them Mar 3, and have been getting the run-around every since. ("Our kukhri maker was sick this week...they came out poor quality and we had to make them again...etc.) I've since filed a claim with my cc company to get my money back. I'd be interested to know if yours arrives any time soon.

Himalalyan Imports, OTOH, gets me the knives they have in stock here from Reno in three days. I own 7-8 kukhs at this point. Top notch work made by real Nepalese Kamis.

I requested a brown sheath though. Anyhow its gonna have a shot at camping this summer and hunting in the fall. At some point a tradition size kukri maybe purchased, but i thought this is a nice way to test the waters. i like that they are making "modern" designs of the kukris, alot to look at.

I was looking at the becker bk2 and the ka-bar potbelly, but this one caught my eye and after shipping it cost around the same as the bk2 or the potbelly.
