I have been looking for a S&W 60 3 inch. My wife decided she really likes the 60 and I have always wanted one so hey win win. :) I have been kind of surprised at how hard they are to find in stock.

Any how, I went into a store today and actually saw one on the shelf new for about 650.....seems kind of expensive. BUT I am in S. Cal, SO is this what a 3 inch 60 is going for or was that store just milking it?

I also notice there was a 442 in there for 460 ish (just for price comparison.)

    I bought a 60 3 inch - new 60-15 last October
at The Barons near Eugene OR. It was $560 + $ 50
S&H to my gun dealer in WA state so add $25 for
transfer and it gets close to your price.

I like the 3" Bbl. although it's chambered for .357
Mag, I find the .38 Special +P 125 gr. Speer
    Gold DOt JHPs very manageable.

This one was $650. You can go over to www.gunsamerica.com and see what they are going for, that will give you a pretty good idea.
