Not a full-on hack job, although the interviewer was more than occasionally biased and antagonistic.

In spite of that, Condi showed restraint and true class. I think she acquitted herself quite well. I do not know all that much about her, but that interview did absolutely no harm to my opinion of her.

Your thoughts?

I may have missed a few minutes, but nothing stuck out other than a fairly positive interview which allowed her to present her ideas relative to Iraq and her life.

Take this interview in comparison with Ex president Bill Clinton's Fox interview. Quite a difference.

hmm, did you miss the emphasis on "mistakes being made"?

Did you miss the pointed question about "given the chance, would you do it all over again the same way"?

Did you miss the patently ludicrous assertion that "no WMDs were found"?

Yeah, I think you missed "a few minutes".
I think I missed the part where the interviewer duisplayed an open mind and conducted a fair interview.

Fortunately, Condi had twice the intelligence and four times the class.

Nope, didn't miss those parts. Those are standard questions that are asked of all politicans these days with regard to the Iraq. She handled them very well. She is a class act!!

The Bush Administration has never sounded the drum on WMD's after those pre-war WMD's were discovered. I always disagreed with the Administration's approach in that regard, but that is their call.

60 Minutes has never been acclaimed for it's "open mind" and Katie Couric just fits into the mold. That is why I rarely watch that show. It still has the stink of Dan Rather reporting.

Didn't see 60 Minutes, but I never liked Couric on The Today Show (or TTS in general for that matter), and I don't like her now.
