I recently purchased a used 640 and the grips on it are somewhat worn. I was wondering from experience if the Hogue grips work well on this model and still keep it concealable and can use a speedloader with it? I have switched to the Hogue on my GP100 and thought they were great. Thanks

I've pocketed a few S&W snubbies with the Hogue Monogrips, and they are still pretty concealable. It does make it larger overall, but not so as the average person would notice. I believe Speedloaders fit as well.

If your hands aren't too large, don't be afraid to try the Hogue Bantam. I find them as comfortable as the Monogrip, although the Monogrip is easier to shoot since I don't have small hands. All my carry snubs wear the Bantams, Monogrips on everything else. YMMV.

Go look at: www.cdnnsports.com

But remember that in addition to whatever you buy there is a flat $10.00 shipping/handling charge. You may want to shop around a bit. Also download their catalog in .PDF format. You'll find some good prices on guns that's aren't on their website.
