What is a good tight fitting patch? I am using a Montanna extreme jag and I can tell you that the .22 cal-6mm patches from Pro0shot are great in a .22 cal bore but too loose in my .243 whether I wrap the pach on the jag to just push it through.

I just buy white flannel buy the yard from walmart. I cut square peices until I find a size that fits the way I want it to and then I cut a whole stack for future use.

I also save my wore out flannel shirts and cut those up for patches. They are soft because they have been washed so many times. I will help to wash the new flannel also. It removes the sizing that is on the material that keeps it firm. The washed stuff holds solvent better.

I just buy those value-bags of shredded T-shirts from wall-mart for $1/bag and use those. The patches are of an assorted size, so pick and tear to fit your needs.
