AIM has 7.5x55 Prvi Partizan for 8.75/box of 20, 8.25 in large quantities. Is this the same as the 7.5x55 being offered by Wolf? I heard they made the stuff for Wolf. Anyone have a good price on the Wolf?

I need rounds and cases, looking for best prices.

Thanks.

Bill

Cheaper than Dirt is carrying the Wolf Gold line, as are some other online retailers, though the price is somewhat more than the AIM offering. They are indeed the same product, by the way.
AIM charges a $10 starting rate for shipping to us, don't know about the rest of the country, so our orders are inevitably large enough to justify it (in the hundreds of dollars).
You can use their website to calculate shipping, though it's somewhat tedious the first time in a session. Go through the purchase process up until you get a shipped price, then go back and mess around with your quantities. It will automatically calculate shipping in your shopping cart after you've entered your zip code.

Thanks, Koobuh, just what I was looking for. Do you by any chance have an opinion on the reloadable Igman soft point 7.52x54R on AIM's site? They seem to have a number of new ammo offerings.

Yep, exact same stuff as the Wolf. In fact Wolf is Prvi Partizan in a different box, I think Prvi also makes Century's hotshot ammo as well. Wolf is basically just being the middle man between Prvi's product and the consumer. Wolf probably can import the ammo and get it distributed much easier than Prvi can. So Prvi just concentrates on making it, Wolf gets it delivered, and we buy it, everyone's happy.:D

I have no idea about the Igman stuff. From the promo material (har har) it was supposed to be really nice stuff, and it's basically being priced to move. Ditto to longhorngunman's assessment. Wolf has good market penetration in the US, as well as name recognition, which Prvi Partizan unfortunately does not, outside of oddball cartridge aficianados- who knew it for its relatively high price tier.

Back of Century's HotShot box (7.62x54r in stock) says "Made in Serbia," so does the back of a Privi P box.... Headstamps are the same too. "nny" is what the characters look like.

The PP 7.5x55 Swiss is nice ammo. Clean. Both are.
