7.62x39 AR Upper Build

Thought I'd share, since shooting a friends BushMaster in 7.62x39 I got hooked on the AR shooting the x39...which I had to build myself

Friend had 2 mags I got from him to tinker with. Both 6.8 mags asc and barret, the asc after tinkering using the barret follower, no problems running 15 rounds, anything more will nose dive pretty bad. But just picked up a new asc 7.62x39 mag to tryout. I just like the straight mag look.

Parts 1-4 purchased from Red X Arms
1. 16" stainless flutted barrel with stainless muzzle brake
2. Upper receiver
3. Nickel boron BCG complete assembly(7.62x39)
4. Gas tube
5. Low profile gas block from, brownells
6. 7.62x39 go/no-go gauges, brownells
7. Hg is from my parts bin 7" MI, running for now
