7.62x39 load question....

after reading through posts on the Cast Boolits site quoting Ed Harris' articles on casting and loading for 7.62x39, I still have a question....

do I need to gas check these loads ???


#1.)
312-155 bullet cast from wheel weights, water quenched and cured for two weeks.

~15 grains of 2400

pan lubed with NRA 50/50

fired in an Kalashnikov action rifle with a 16" barrel.

same as above, but with ~18gr of 1680

From most of the previous post I have read over there it seem most of the guy shooting cast bullets in the SKS are using GC with there loads.
