This is the second M39 I've tested this load in, and the results are good. Picked up the load from fellow THR member PTK. It is good to go.
150gr Sierra SP ProHunter (.311)
46gr. H4895
PRVI Brass
CCI LR primers
Was testing this, and some new peep sights on my Marlin 1894c .357mag. Started raining buckets right after I got my targets set up. Ran out, pulled them down, waited it out for about 25 minutes. The wait was worth it as everything worked well today.
Here are pics of the rifle, and then a close up of the target. Rifle is a 1942 B barrel, unissued. 10 rounds @ 100 yards into a 2-11/16" group.
