700 SPS 30.06 Group

My first 4 shot group with an out of the box 700SPS with a Nikon Buckmaster 3-9x40. 100yds

This was with a $15.00 box of Wal-Mart Remington Core-Lokt 150g ammo.

That flyer was partially my fault and the horrible factory trigger. I'll have to work on that.

I couldn't get my handloads to group that tight but I figured the groups widened after a full box of this ammo heated the barrel.

Anyone else a fan of the factory Remington ammo?

my 700 is the same as yours and it shoots about the same i like the remington ammo to get brass to reload with

Remington 130gr core-lockt is all I have had through my Remington 7400. The gun is no tack driver but is hunting accurate and the core-lokts kill em dead. My 700 in 7mm rem mag likes the core-lokts and blue box federal equally.

Am not surprised the Core-Lokts do well for you. They have shot well for me in at least a half-dozen calibers and a couple dozen rifles.
