The new "plastic bottom" 7600 mags are garbage, am sure you already know that if you are reading this thread. My 2 are no different. Think they need modified, just not sure what kind. Advice please.

Mag #1- feeds fine off the right and 4th round off left, but last left round (2nd in mag) bolt slides over round without completely picking it up causing Failire to feed.

Mag #2- feeds spire point bullets fine. All round nose loads I've tried cause a similar issue as round #2 as above with siginifact regularity.

Rifle is a .308 I had rebored to .358 Win. Have particular interest in the round noses, intentionally loading it to mimic a .35 Remington.

Most likely some judicious feed lip adjustment with some duck-bill pliers.
And/Or mag spring tweaking to put more pressure on the rear of the round.

But me doing it, and trying to tell someone else how to do it on the internet is much more difficult.

Bend the front (top) end down slightly, and stretch it slightly so it puts more pressure on the rear of the stack.

Again easier to do, then write in in words.
