I just recently picked up a 7mm Mauser rifle, and i would like to know where to find some surplus ammo to feed it. It know about the PRVI and S&B ammo, just looking for any cheaper surplus stuff. I looked at the SamCo ammo, but the reviews of it are terrible.

7mm mauser surplus are but impossible to find nowadays. Modern Privi Partizan will be your friend but they do not come as often . If they do are available, grab as much as you can afford. Try Wideners.com and ammunitiontogo.com

I agree with what Nathan said. There never was much 7mm Mauser surplus on the market, and what little there was dried up years and years ago. The Prvi is your best bet by far. I just got a batch from AIM Surplus at $13 per 20. They're a great outfit, by the way.

Way back when I got my Model 93 Mauser, Interarmco sold Spanish surplus 7mm ammo for less than $10 per hundred rounds. Those days are long gone, but I did save all the stripper clips as speed loaders. Nowadays, the Privi ammo is about the cheapest available.

7x57 is one of the best but you have to handload if you want to shoot a lot. Because of the BC of the .284 bullets this a great round to "build"

Thanks for the replies, The gun is a 1908 Brazilian contract that was tastefully modified to accept a scope and left intact other than the receiver mount, the PRVI sounds like the way to go, this will probably be my general purpose long range rifle if it shoots like it should with a barrel this pristine.
