Sorry if this is a repeat. I did a search and found nothing.

What kind of brass life can I expect from a 7mm Remington Magnum, using plain-jane Winchester brass and moderate loads? is 5 loadings reasonable with new brass?

Yrd, Very likely if you neck size only and shoot moderate loads.
Not likely if you full length resize every time.

You can get many more if you size using the shoulder for head space rather than the belt(if you rifle will let you do this). Any time you use the belt the brass gets stretched and will separate within just a few firings, that is not a good thing. To do this the shoulder and the belt must touch in the chamber at the same time. This does not work if you load for more than your rifle either. This is called partial full length sizing.

I've shot my Winchester brass several times with medium to hot loads with neck sizing only in Lee collet dies. Brass looks great.

R22 works great with LR or LRM primers with 120gr to 168gr bullets.

ive loaded mine all probally 8 or 9 times and as long as you trim and are not loading real hot i havent seen a problem. i also use a collet sizer. my loads run about 3200 with 154gr bullets and reloader 19.
