7mm08 cased form from 308W brass

Awhile back i formed 7mm08 cases from 308brass. would it be reasonable or harmful to the brass to reformed them back to .308Win as i have a .308 now???

would this even work? Would the case formed 7mm08 case necks even fit into the .308 resizer die??

Why bother? 308 Win cases are plentiful and cheap (check components for sale on THR or Gunbroker). Seriously, it might work, but you are stressing the cases way too much and cusing brittleness by doing this. If you do it, I'd suggest annealing these cases before loading them.
