8-shot .357 "3 or smaller?

This post makes no sense... Please re-post with something backed by at least 7 brain cells and other firearm enthusiasts may actually want to respond.
 
lol k mighty one, but yea i guess it doesnt exist for under a grand, with exception for the day guard, 686 plus (2.5") is the closest i have found to what im looking for

@marine, im one of those people that is wierd and thinks less moving parts is cool, i dunno
 
well you might be talking about a revolver in .357 mag.
I was thinking .357 caliber not the round.
.357SIG is for practical purposes very similar in the 100-130gr bullets. The secret service choice.

Revolvers have less moving parts? Less than what? A semi-auto? Ever looked inside one? What expanding gas doesn't, mechanical linkages must do.

Not sure I understand the original question..."What's the general consensus on the 3" 8-shot non-PC .357?" I'm keeping my eyes open for a 4" Pro or 5" PC 627 for match shooting, but I personally have no need for a shorter version, even if it's cheaper.
