8mm mauser headstamp question

I just picked up a few boxes of 8mm surplus ammo. Was told its czech. headstamp on it has uxa and a 7 on it. could anyone tell me if its czech and what year? thanks. jim

"uxa" code stands for Zbrojovka Vlašim, not sure about the number/year.

Thank you! the primer looks oxidized, is that normal? it also looks brass cased. just regular ball ammo? jim

It's actually a "4". It is Czech export ammo, and the belief is that it was 1950s production with a slightly spurious headstamp.
Ball ammo with a corrosive zinc-coated primer.
