92FS Hammer Spring Help!

I'm trying to replace my hammer and hammer spring on my 92FS. The pin will not come out when I depress the lanyard loop on the end.

So I took a nail punch and a hammer and went to town on it. Not too purty but it's all under the grip. It was well worth it. The D spring feels amazing now!

Sorry but hammer wasn't cocked was it? +1 on the 92d spring

If it is an italian 92, you will have a roll pin that must be knocked out with a punch. If you have a USA one, just use a small allen wrench to push it out as you push the lanyard loop down (with the gun frame being pushed down onto the carpet).

If you have an Italian one, buy the USA pin before you do this, and replace it with the $3 pin.
