Thanks guys. I just love this riflle. It shoots so wonderfully. And you know, it has much less recoil than my heavier Mossberg 30-30. Must be the design? They just don't make em like they used to I suppose.

This object transcends price. Value in dollars is for other, lesser things. I do not like to think of the things I would do to you to get my hands on it.

You can't put a $ figure on a gun that has been in your family and handed down to you as the next caretaker. I think if you were to sell that gun you would regret it long after the money was gone. Keep it, enjoy and take care of it and then hand it on down to your children or another family member you believe would care for it as you have. You are very lucky to have that gun considering its history. Joe

Hahaaha... hehe.. uh, you're kinda scaring me MartinS.....

But I agree with all - I have a family treasure that with remain the family as a cherished part of our history.
