i've just purchades a 110 and would like to know if the replacement iron sights im thinking of ordering from numrich will fit under my 3-9 redfield partner scope. i'm using kwik-site see throught scope rings, so i have a little less than 3/4 inch clearance between the scope and barrel at the front end.

To rephrase once i install the iron sights will im be able to use them or will the scope be in the way?

Thanks

On my 110 I use medium height rings and my Nikon 3-9 doesn't even come close to the iron sights as the sights are in front of the scope. Even the Butler Creek pop up scope covers I have on the scope doesn't hit the iron sights when deployed. I believe that you'll be fine with your setup.

I think you will be ok. I have a similiar set-up on a .270 with a Bushnell. Not real sure about the "Redfield only because it is a shorter bodied scope. Like "Dodge" said, my sights are in front of the scope. The 110's are a pain in the azz because of their exaggerated distance between base mounts, but their is always a combination that works somewhere. Good luck.

Ive only seen one savage with normal sight on it, but the seethrus were high enough on my 7400 with those tall remington sights. I would also counsel against using those rings, as cool as it seemed to have open sights also. They pull your head about an inch off the stock making it hard to use the scope, often the stock will come up and smack you in the face also, and if youve got the 110 with the montecarlo its going to want to do that to begin with.
