Been a while since I've visited and there sure seems to be more folks here!:)

Looking for comments from anyone who has loaded 95gr FMJ bullets for there 9mm handguns.

I have thousands of them from years ago when I was shooting a PPK alot. I have since sold that gun and have a Ruger LCP that is nice for a BUG but not so fun to plink with. So now I just shoot a few mags of defensive ammo once a month and have this big surplus of FMJ's i would like to use.

I found several loads listed by powder manufacturers, but would like to hear from those on the forum who have made plinker or target loads with this light bullet for their 9mm guns.

Thanks!

I haven't tried.

If you have a good price on them PM me & I will see if I can unload some of them for you.

I shoot 95g sp bullets I got cheap through my glock 34

They aren't too terribly accurate out to 50yds but inside that I'm hard pressed to tell a difference from more mainstream loads.

I have some 95gr Speer TMjs that I've loaded for the 9mm. RMR has them for a great price. 7.4-7.6gr of HS-6 at 1.020 does it for me. Recoil and accuracy are good, fun to shoot. Haven't tried 231 yet.

Interesting, the 95 grain 9mm bullet is the standard for the .380 or 9mm Kurtz never thought about using them in a 9mm Luger.

Judging by the "out of stock" status of many suppliers, many people use these.. good price break. I cast but noticed this.

I've shot some 95gr .355 bullets left over when I used to have my 380. Not that accurate compared to my 124 or 147gr loads. Just trying to use them up until they're gone.

I have quite a few guys telling me they are getting excellent results from the 95 grain TMJ's. From what I have been told the best results come from very hot loads (this statement should in no way be taken to mean you should be stupid when loading them). I did get some more soft points in stock too. Here is a link in case you were curious as to what I am talking about. http://www.shop.rmrbullets.com/category.sc?categoryId=16
