I've using RD, but getting ready to load up another batch and would like to know forums opinion. Due to shortage, I have a good selection to choose from. Thanks for input.

What do you have?
I like Titegroup and HP 38, I'm sure others like different.
I don't like Red Dot for 9mm, too small of a charge to measure well but thats just me. I am using up the rest of mine in 45 and 40 where I drop at least 4.5gr
Any reasionably fast powder will work well with 115gr lrn. I've never tried slower pistol powders with lead so I will not give advice on it.

I use a lot of Unique and Bullseye. I tend to load 124grn though not 115grn bullets.

I like win 231 it is clean and it has been around for a long time. It can be loaded in about all hand gun rounds. I even use it in my 44 Mag's

I use Win231/HP38 for the majority of my lead loads in the 9. I have also used RedDot, Clays & Titegroup with equal success.I notice very little difference with whatever I use.

The "best" is the type you have in stock that is listed for your caliber.

HP 38, Power Pistol are my go to.

A mid range charge of W231 and a Berry's plated round nose is the most accurate load in my Bereltta 92 and Taurus 709. Clays also performs well, but groups are not as good.

I only shoot jacketed bullets in my Glock, but have had good results with Titegroup, Universal Clays, Unique, Power Pistol, W-540, W-231, Accurate No. 5, Accurate No. 7, and Blue Dot. I currently use Titegroup the most.

I've used Power Pistol with good results, Blue Dot would be the next powder I'd like to try. It's really going to come down to having a list of powders that will work according to what manual you are using, finding one from the list and using it, that's how I ended up with Power Pistol.
