Recent Cabelas Bargain Cave visit found a Lee 4 die 9mm for <$30. What a deal!

Got it home and found the kit had two FCD dies but no bullet seating dies. Urgh.

I used a Lee 357 die for bullet seating - worked great. Followed up with a light press with the FCD die. Worked so good I wonder if the dies are much different??

Cabelas will not even talk to me as there are "no returns" for Bargain Cave items.

So is Hornady the only one who sells seating dies loose? This Bargain Cave deal is not such a bargain!

RCBS will ,I've gotten extras for some of mt calibers to keep set for certain bullets.Probably all of them will ,even if you have to call them direct I don't think they would turn you away.

Give Lee customer service a call. I got a seating die missing the punch. Only question asked was "What's your address?" :D

No reason the seating die wouldn't work as long as the tapered case fit in the die and the body was out far enough to prevent putting a roll crimp in the case mouth.

Thanks, Lee took care of me and also replaced for free a die mandrel with a bent decapping pin.
