9mm bullet weight question

While we're on the subject of 9mm bullet weight; I've got a bunch of 124 gr FMJ's, a pound of Power Pistol, and a Glock 19. Anyone have thoughts on what would be a nice combination of 124's & Power Pistol? Have already loaded up some 115 gr. bullets with some HS-6 but haven't been to the range with them yet. I've heard good things about Power Pistol in the 9mm but have zero experience with it in anything.
I have loaded Xtreme 124gr HP (plated) bullets with PP.

I am still in the process of building my loads; here is what i have so far

STAR 30M 9mm handgun (3.5in barrel). 73 and Sunny. All rounds were 124gr Xtreme HP, WSP and Speer brass.

Powder: Load: OAL: #shots/ Avg Vel SD ES
Power Pistol 5 1.12 10 / 1029 20 63
Power Pistol 5.1 1.12 10 / 1031 25 63
Power Pistol 5.2 1.12 10 / 1053 27 68
Power Pistol 5.3 1.12 10 / 1077 13 49
Power Pistol 5.4 1.12 10 / 1093 11 33

The days Low velocity was 995fps and the Hi 1114fps. Out of 50 rounds.

The 5.4 shoot well, i will be trying 5.5 to 5.7 next week.

I have reloaded 115gr adn 124gr bullets from Berrys, Montana Gold, and Xtreme, i prefer and get better accuracy out of the 124gr HP. I have tried combos of all above with W231, PP and Longshot. I have not hot loaded any 124gr FMJ but will also try that next to see accuracy.

I bought an m&p core a few months ago. I also changed to the dawson sights. I have been using light loads of the SR7625 with xtreme 115 and 124 plated bullets. I did notice that I was having better accuracy with the 124's.
Hope this helps.

Update: Range data on the rest of the run.

Bullet: Powder: Load: OAL: #shots/ Avg Vel SD ES

124 Xtreme HP Power Pistol 5.5 1.12 10 / 1110 16 58
124 Xtreme HP Power Pistol 5.6 1.12 10 / 1116 20 68
124 Xtreme HP Power Pistol 5.7 1.12 10 / 1137 13 44
124 SPEER GDHP LongShot 5.6 1.12 5 / 1085 21 55

Same handgun, 91 and sunny weather. The 5.6 PP load showed best accuracy.

Thanks for the range test LeftyTSGC.

Since you got best accuracy with 20 SD load, goes to prove once again lower SD numbers don't always translate to smaller shot groups.

To answer Potatohead's question, the answer lies in the recoil cycle. A heavier bullet produces more recoil (Newtons third law). As the bullet is traveling down the barrel, the barrel is rising in recoil at a slightly faster rate. Upon exit, the muzzle is elevated more than it would be from the recoil of a lighter bullet.

The same thing happens with rifle bullet weights, but we don't see the difference because of the ranges involved (rifles are used at typically much greater distances than handguns) and weight (rifles weight a lot more than even a heavy handgun). We do, however, feel it in recoil with rifles.
