Greetings everyone. I could use a little help with some data. Hodgdon recently changed their site and I am still getting used to it. I just started casting and I have two molds. One is a 120gr 356 TC mold. They cast to about 125 grain. The other mold is a 124 grain round nose 356 mold. They cast to around 128 grains.

The TC mold I have had a little longer and had data at 5.0-5.7 grains of longshot. My OAL is 1.040.
I need a little help with the round nose. I can make the OAL much longer with the round nose. A dummy rounds chambered at much longer than the TC. I want to keep the powder for this load longshot as well. Am I good to stay in the same powder loads with this cast as the TC? Will me comparing it to the BERB RN be acceptable?

Thanks again for all of the help!

It would seem to me if you are going to lengthen the OAL, as long as that translates into more case space, you SHOULD be fine, the weight is nearly identical. Of course, I'd start at the beginning and work back up.
