how does this sound for a general target round out of my G19.

Bullet- 115 FMJ
Powder- Accurate No 7, 6.6 grains
Once fired brass mixed head stamps.
Federal No. 100 Small pistol pimers.
COL-1.104

this sound like a good target load? or should I tweak it...

6.6grs is too light a load with AA#7, maximum is 8.8grs start load will be 7.9grs. Use the start load at least. No7 is a slow powder and will pretty much fill the case at 8.0grs. Its not a powder to load light with. If you want a low velocity target load use a faster powder like W231 or Red Dot to name a couple I've used or Bullseye, Hp38, AA#2, etc.

8.0grs of AA#7 behind a 115 gr Remington bulk jhp lit by a Federal 100 in mixed cases chrono'd at 1,169 fps average from my Glock 19 SD was 9.24 fps as good as most factory ammo.

I use AA#7 all the time, and the only time I use a load that light is with my 124gr cast bullet plinking loads. Very light. My good loads start at 8.0 grains for a 115gr JHP, and a favorite is 8.6 grains for a general all purpose load. Those are loaded to 1.122 OAL, for me only, and Lee Factory Crimp Die used.
Bump it up to 8.0 to start, probably be much better for you.
My advice and loads are worth exactly what you paid for them, and load data is provided for academic purposes only, use at your own risk...

I hate lawyers.

I figured it was to light a load, I had checked a book, and must have misread the load charge. I loaded up about 20 of these as my first reloads to get the hang of it. Guess i need to go buy a bullet puller lol..

Also, I have a question about COL, as long as you stay within the minimum COL and the Max for the caliber you are loading you are fine correct?
