I havent had any significant trouble with their pistol brass (GECO). Haven't shot an abundance of it though.

FYI Starline has 380 brass in too, for you mouse gunners out there.

(Well it ships on the 23rd)

People buy Mak brass?

I just take 9x19 brass, trim 1mm off with the zip trim, chamfer and deburr, then reload lol.

But then again I also make 7.62Tok brass from 5.56 brass

Thanks for the heads up about the 380 - I'd buy some if I didn't have enough once fired brass for a while. :)

Yep I buy Makarov brass if I don't have enough brass cases from factory ammo for reloading. If I trimmed 9x19 brass - then it would take longer to sort brass from the range (I shoot 9x19 too). :)

I also trim 9x19 to make 9x18 Makarov. I bought a power adapter for my Lyman trimmer and it made it a simple operation. There is nothing wrong with Starline brass but I got tired of backorders. I mark my headstamps with a red Sharpy to warn the brass scavengers that something is up.

I trim 9 x 19 brass too. The "other stuff" is a bit pricey for my tastes and this way if I lose a few in the grass it's no big deal. I always leave the range with three times as much 9mm brass as I take.

I didn't see this posted (unless I missed the post :) ), but just a heads up for those that reload for their makarov that starline has 9mm makarov brass in stock. https://www.starlinebrass.com/brass-cases/9MM-Makarov-Brass/index.cfm

Now we need to convince Berry's to restart production of the 95 grain PLRN.

EDIT: This thread reminded me to go to Berry's and check. :) They are back in production http://www.berrysmfg.com/product-i15160-c18-g8-b0-p0-9x18_Makarov_364_95gr_RN___1000ct.aspx
