If anybody has a Lawmen Supply located within a reasonable distance, and you shoot 9mm, .40S&W, or .45ACP, then they've got the best price I've seen on range ammo.
I just bought three 500 round cases of Remington-UMC 115gr. FMJ 9mm for $59.95 per case, that's $120.00 per 1,000 rounds. They don't even sell the CCI/Blaser that cheap, that stuff was going for $139.95 per 1,000 round case.
I've used this Remington-UMC in .38Spl, and .357 Magnum with good results, and when I had my Beretta 96FS, it was about the only ammo that gun liked besides Wolf, so I'm confident I'll have no problems with it in my new XD-9 service.

The Lawmen Supply near me is located on Rt.#30 between Egg Harbor City, and Hammonton, NJ. There's also a store in Deleware, and another in the D.C. area.

Since they are a Law Enforcement supply, they usually only carry ammunition that is used by law enforcement, so don't expect to find any deals on .44 Magnum, or those off beat Russian pistols......

Woops...I forgot to include....

I also picked up a 50 round box of the 124gr. Federal Premium Personal Defense, expanding full metal jacket in 9mm Luger to keep in my magazines while this gun serves home defense duty.

Here in The Democratic People's Republic of New Jersey hollow point's are concidered excessive force by the state's AG. I'am told this Federal expanding FMJ is the required load to carry for retired LEO's, as they too are reccomended to not carry hollow point ammunition...... :banghead:

The liberal gun laws in this state are about as screwed up as a soup sandwich....

I don't know if you have Academy there but in Ft Worth they sell 9mm Winchester White box (115gr JRN) for $4.86 a box and 9mm Russian Barnaul for $3 something a box.

I can't reload it that cheap. Got another 2 cases last week.

Good ammo. Very accurate and reloadable. :)

On this topic a plug for natchezss.com and their 4.59/box Blazer 115gr FMJ in lots of 20 is in order - and for the big boys the 230gr .45ACP at 6.99 a box when bought by the case. Got one of each delivered yesterday and have another one of each on order.

The problem I have here in Jersey is, this state charges gun dealers so darn much just to conduct business, they all have to get a premium on damn near everything they sell.
The basic dealers license "God only knows what"...!
Then they get tagged with another $2,000.00 if they want to import, store and sell reloading supplies....(powder & primers)...and this includes black powder too....
Then there's the City, Township, and county fee's they gotta pay on top of that.

Hopefully now you can understand my excitement when I find a 500 round case of Rem-UMC for $59.95.
We have two chain sporting goods stores in our area that sell ammo, one sells this same Rem-UMC for $7.00 per box, and the other sells the WWB for about the same, so $6.00 per box is about the best I'll ever do on 115Gr. 9mm.

Even at these prices, it's also probably cheaper for me to buy factory, then to reload it, as I have to pay through the nose for powder & primers too....
