PapaGrune, you asked me about my Ruger New Blackhawk .357 after I wandered off. It has a 6.5" barrel and an adjustable sight. I found it is still available at Cheap as Dirt for just under $500 with both cylinders. The picture they have doesn't make the gun look as big as it really is. The original grips just didn't work for me and it feels much better with the Hogue monogrip. I can get all my fingers on it now. I attaching a picture of it with the original grips. The name of the gun is new Blackhawk, but mine is from the early 90's. I also have the 45 cal version of the gun and have added a picture of them together. The 45 has a 7.5" barrel.
