I just picked up some 147 grain 9mm bullets. They were made by Barry's, so I know I have to load them like lead. I want to use Unique because I have pounds of it around. I will be using CCI 400 small pistol primers. Does anyone have any load data? I only need a start load and I can work up from there.

Berry actually says:
Plated bullets occupy a position between cast bullets and jacketed bullets. They are soft lead, but have a hard outer shell on them. When loading plated bullets we have found best results using low- to mid-range jacketed data in the load manual. You must use data for a bullet that has the same weight and profile as the one you are loading. Do not exceed mid-range loads. Do not use magnum loads.

Try around 4.0 - 4.2 grains Unique.
After working from a starting load of 3.7 grains.

DO Not use lead bullet starting loads with plated bullets.
Copper plating is not as slippery as grease lubed lead.
A light Lead Starting Load might stick a plated bullet in the bore.

I was loading the Lyman 147 gr FP in my GLOCK 26. My Lyman manual list 3.2 gr of Unique as the starting load and a max of 3.8 gr for that bullet. I stopped at 3.8 gr because the bullet just shot so well.
