allow me to rephrase, then. They are nigh impossible to get in the USA because of import policy.
 
Actually, I think they do make a Glock in .380 ACP, but it can't be imported into the US. Remember reading something about that somewhere. But I think you can get one in Europe.

"9mm" in Glock and CZ 75 terms means 9mm Luger (also known as 9mm parabellum, 9x19mm, 9mm NATO). If you go to a gun shop and ask for 9mm ammo, this is likely what they will give you. If you tell them what gun it's for, they should know that you mean 9mm Luger. If you buy Winchester White Box, for example, it says "9mm Luger" on the box.


Other types of 9mm ammo (NOT used in a Glock or CZ 75) include:

9mm Kurz (AKA 9x17mm or .380 ACP)
9mm Makarov (AKA 9x18mm)
9x21mm (AKA I believe it's 9 super IIRC).
