I bought one of those in 1986. I paid $12.50 for it at an auction and sold it for $35 a few months later.

It's worth whatever someone will pay for it; not necessarily what the seller asks for it.

I suggest you don't take it to heart. I had an AR upper for sale on GB. I had a few local bites for it. Since I didn't want to pay relisting fees if the local deals fell through, I added two digits to the price. Had it priced at $80k that way. The point was to not sell but not lose out on the money spent for the ad. I had a lot of hate mail for it. People were upset at the price and had no problems typing long derogatory emails over a simple f/s ad. It ended up selling locally and being pulled.

The point is that some people aren't always looking to sell something they have listed unless an absolute sucker is willing to pay an unrealistic price.
