A bit embarrassed, has this ever happened to you?

I think I know how you feel. I carry a S&W semi in .45 acp. It is DAO so you know it has a bit of a long trigger pull. This weekend I shot a friends Kimber. Full size gun, single action...only six shots and the best group I've shot in a Lo-o-o-ng time. Even my sons noticed it! Then Clay took the gun and shot a better group! I think I need to change my carry piece.

I went shooting with a friend recently, and I took my S&W Model 64 with 4 inch barrel because I hadn't shot it in a while. We were shooting at Coke cans lined up on a board. I started shooting at one can, knocked it off the board, and proceeded to shoot at it on the ground (with a good backstop behind it) and kept shooting at it as it bounced along. I shot 4 cylinders of ammo at that can, never missed it once, and by the end of the string it must have been 125 feet away. Best I've ever done with that gun. As someone said, sometimes it just clicks.
