Well, the missus and the kids went on a field trip to Parliament up in the big city today. They got the tour and then the kids broke up into groups and formed politcal parties and did mock elections.
My 10 year old boy got in with the "safety" party--which made me cringe, until I found out what his contributions were. Seems like their party wanted to decrimiinalize (sorry, decriminaliSe) firearms, so the law abiding English folks could defend themselves. Their party won, which is all very exciting...except it didn't count because they're children. Still, these Texans are doing their part to spread the word--you don't have to live in fear of knife wielding thugs if you elect the right people.
