Just sharing. :)

I enjoy taking pictures. I haven't really gotten to take many still life pics with my new camera (these pics are my experimenting with my new camera). Hopefully, I'll get a good chance to soon. For now, these didn't turn out too bad.

Flashlight is a HDS EDC U60. Very very nice light. Pricey too. I had it upgraded with a Seoul SSC P4 LED (like what is used in the Surefire G2L). All together it cost me about $230. It is well worth it though. Puts out about 150 lumens on hight. (real lumens not just bloated advertised lumens)

1911 is a lightly modified Springfield Armory GI model. Its my workhorse that goes with me in the woods.

Camera is a Canon PowerShot S3IS. It was a gift to my self after my son was born (about 5 months ago).

Congratulations on the birth of your son! Another THR'er in the making, eh? :)

How did you light the shots? Was that just ambient light in the room? Near a window or outdoors maybe? Something special? Or maybe Photoshop?

very nce pics and nice handguns you have there, i wish i could take better pics. i take alot away from my guns when i take pcs because i do such a crappy job, i rarely ever do my guns justice by the crappy pics i take.
 
Here is what my lighting setup usually looks like. Sometimes I will change the position of the poster board but thats about it. These pictures were taken with my older camera ($130 HP camera from Wal-Mart)

Nice pictures. I'll have to use that lighting set up (my pictures using direct lighting look nasty).

BTW, can't help but notice that dog chew-toy in the background. Gotta love 'em.
