Was going through my knives the other day and decided it was time to buy some replacements for some of them. Needed a new "nice" EDC as the current CRKT Cruiser was being shifted to my primary work knife, wanted a nice little knife for when I didn't want a big EDC and wanted a new knife for in my truck. So off to knifecenter I went. Ended up choosing a discontinued Benchmade "Nave Sea Bees" Griptillian ($55), a basic Mora, and a baby Opinel. And they arrived today

I'm very pleased with all of them. First Mora I've ever had, can't believe I waited this long. The baby opinel is just as good as my other Opies, and just the perfect size to sit in the bottom of the pocket. And the benchmade... well it's a benchmade :D

The Opinel looks like a handy little knife that would fit nicely in the change pocket/watch pocket of a pair of jeans.

Congrats. I bought one of the Opinels a while back (a #8). Has been a good knife so far. The durability does make me wonder (I have complete faith in the lock and bolster, but without a metal liner I think that the handle could snap if too much pressure was applied). Still, for general chores it keeps a great edge. Not sure if its just my acidic sweat at work again or what though but the "Opinel" writing on the handle started to wear off after a few weeks of carry.

The Mora seems to scream: The Art of knife.

Wonder how it sells in Japan .-)
