So yesterday I take a ride to a gunstore/indoor range that is about a half hour or so away from me. I've been there before and they had a decent selection plus a nice indoor range to shoot at, but I heard that they recently changed owners. So in my search for a Beretta Storm I had called them on thursday and the lady on the phone said they had 5 in stock and were asking $599. A WHOLE lot better than the "other" gun store by me that never has anything, and to my surprise actually had a Storm........for $675!!!

So I walk in and I'm instantly in heaven! The first showcase as soon as you walk in is full of HK handguns and carbon15 and AR pistols.....not bad. Then I continue on and they have a whole display of high end accessories. Three different models of EOTech sights, which I FINALLY got to see in person and really loved. An ACOG (TA31 I think), and ACOG reflex sight (which is VERY nice), all kinds of surefire mounts and AR handguards.

So then on to the other cases......just about EVERY handgun you could imagine!!! Must have been over 1000 show guns!! Ever Kimber model I could see, even the new ones with the tac rail, para ords, Sigs, HK P7M8's and 2 P7M13's that have been discontinued! They had SIX FN five sevens sitting in the case lined up. Desert Eagles, a S&W .500 4" revolver that he pulled out and showed me.....that thing was a hand cannon!! I'm sure I'm forgetting more handguns, but trust me they were there.

Then on to the rifles. You wouldn't believe the selection, especially for being in NEW JERSEY!! Just about every model of Bushmaster you could think of.....I checked out quite a few of them and the new M4 was VERY nice. The varminter was sweet as well. Had 3 M1 Garands in stock, 5-6 M1A's, 5 Storms, just about any kind of tactical shotgun set-up you could want. Even had the semi-auto Barrett .50!

The guys working there were very knowledgable and friendly, definately a good group of people. I told them I definately have a new favorite gun store and would be coming back as soon as the bank account allowed! lol

So I walked outta there with a new Beretta Storm, with 2 mags for $650 including taxes and our lovely $15 instant check fee. The other shop wanted $675 BEFORE tax and fee and even was gonna jip me outta one of the mags!!!

All in all a VERY good experience and gives hope to everyone after seeing the gunshop rant threads! :D

How long did you get to browse that store before your alarm went off and you had to wake up? :p

:D That was exactly my thought when I read the part about 1000 handguns and every single model of Kimber.

Some dreams ARE better than others, however, and as dreams go that was a pretty good one.:neener:

heheheh believe me I almost THOUGHT I was dreaming. But I have my new Beretta Storm right here to prove that that dreams can come true sometimes! :D

you left out the most important part! Whats the name of the place and where's it located?

If you're looking in a phonebook or the like it will be under the old name of Eagle Eye Indoor Range......the new name is Hague Indoor Range, but it's not listed anywhere.

It's located in West Deptford way down south by me right off of I295 exit 24 if I remember correctly. Here's the address if you feel like taking a ride (I highly recommend you do ;)):

700 CROWN POINT RD, THOROFARE, NJ 08086
