I was going to do some stills, but with gun pics being pretty much a dime a dozen these days, I decided a "fly over" film would be a little more interesting visually, with the movie trailer theme for fun. :) In truth, I was looking for a subject to test out some new gear for my imaging work and the new 40 was inspiring.

Get your popcorn out ;) ... here's the short, 1 minute, movie trailer...

I put a couple of mags through the new gun last night, 16 rounds of 180 GR Gold Dot and 15 rounds of Winchester 180 GR. Ranger Bonded. Ran like a champ... the gun shoots wonderfully. My friends on M4Carbine were very encouraging about this model and I can see why.. Its a keeper!

Now I need to do some serious woodsheddin' at the reloading bench so I can shoot the beejezies out of it without eating into my high dollar defense ammo!

Congrats D. Hart.

I just ordered my first M&P this week and first full size semiauto, a 9Pro with a 5inch barrel and a light pipe sight. I'm looking at doing some action shooting this summer. I need a hobby.

Cousin to your M&P, Walther P99AS in .40.

Looking forward to getting it under the lens.

Cool video.

Dude, why are you doing this for free? Didn't you watch "The Dark Knight"? "If you're good at something, never do it for free." -Joker

You need to contact Smith and Wesson and start getting paid for advertising their stuff!

Seriously though, nice video.

Great vid! Seriously, get in touch with a gun company or companies and see if they are interested in your work.

Thanks for the suggestions... this was just a test of a new camera and gear, and the M&P's just happened to be handy subjects to feature. I do plan to do some commercial ventures with the technique!

Wow that is not only great camera motion work, but perfect music selection, classy animated text, and very nice even lighting!

If I had to guess:
1.) Canon 7D or 5DMk2...
2.) Nifty table top size rolling dolly...?

I could easily be wrong on both (first time all day lol), just throwing it out there!

Please stop immediately. I have bought too many guns because of your excellent stills. God knows what will happen to what's left of my bank account when I start watching your movies!

Nice camera work and vid. M&P is on my shortlist for next purchase.

+1 on sending your work to some gun companies to look for a paid gig.

Thanks again.... Glad you enjoy it.

Powder... I do use a 5DMkII, but this is the Lumix GH2, using the 7-14 lens and 20mm f/1.7 lens on, yes, a dolly!

Jim... Hey buddy, I know the feeling... Guns and camera gear are keeping my bank account drained too!

WEG... Take a chill pill, man. No one is telling you to buy anything. That tiny strip of wording isn't something I even notice in handling or shooting the gun. If you place your focus on such minute, inconsequential elements, you're only shortchanging yourself. I would say, buy what you like and waste no precious time on earth fussing over inconsequential things. Life is good when you let it be. Sorry bud, but I think your post is along the lines of being invited to visit someones house for a party, and then taking a big stinking $H1T in the middle of their living room. Thanks for your efforts.
