A gun you can handle blindfolded...

handguns, everything I own. I don't own anything too complicated. Now, if you're taking springs out of my revolvers... different story. Standard field strip for cleaning, easily. I couldn't do my garand... I could do my mossberg 44.

Haven't tried detail stripping/reassembling a 1911 blindfolded though. Sounds like a good rainy day activity.
The use of a cookie sheet will keep the pins from rolling off the table...

I can field strip the Beretta 92FS into 5 pieces (not including mag) and reassemble - 1 handed (my weak hand) - in less than 30 seconds. I tried it one night in response to another thread on THR about being disabled and stripping/reassembling a gun with 1 good hand. In about 15 attempts, my average time was around 40 seconds, but my best was somewhere in the 20's. If the locking block falls out of it's slot under the barrel, you're screwed for about an extra 20 seconds.

I'll bet I could do it blindfolded with both hands in even less time. Maybe I'll try that tonight.

Now - blindfolded, with only your weak hand - give that one a try! :)

I got bored last night and broke down my Glock 27 blindfolded, disassembled and reassembled in 26 seconds, is that good?

Weatherby vanguard remmy 700 ruger single six stoeger uplander and fender stratocaster oh wait got away from the guns there. My fiance says its better with the lights off so i decided i could do anything with eyes closed. Lol

My Glock 23. I use snap caps to draw, handle malfunctions, various two handed AND one handed reloads with and without light. It's just as smooth and quick as if I'm in daylight. With that said, I've spent on average 30 or more minutes a day on dry practice with my 23 over the past few years. I'm always striving to become unconsciously competent when it comes to running my EDC gun.

Well, the original poster asked about operating the gun blindfolded. I can definitely do that with absolutely every gun I own. If I have the required tools handy, I can also field strip all of my guns. Detail-strip, not so much.
