A mosin. Really, i know they are cheap, but i can never see how i will profit by having that vs the equivelent amount of money in ammo or someting else. I still want one though.

I've wanted one since I was in college but really have no use for one so I keep putting it off. With the price of ammo nowadays, I think I'll stick with .22 and 9mm.

and probably never will.
You know what I mean. A gun you would really like to have just because it would be fun/cool to own, and is realistically obtainable, but never makes it high enough on your priority list or you can't bring yourself to justify the money.
Mine is the Browning repro of the 1895 Winchester, in 30/06. I really dont know why. It just appeals to me for some reason.

I skipped the 30-06 and went straight to the .405 Win.

I would put one of the Barrett 50 calibers in this catagory, or maybe a good sxs thumper.
