A buddy of mine got one early this year & we were both pleasantly surprised at how tame it was to shoot...much much easier than its persona would imply
As for the picture, it looks like Saddam is trying to raise some $$ by selling some of his old inventory
I actually shot one like that. The kick was tolerable, but the muzzle flip was awsome as well as the blast. A guy at the range had just bought one(used) and was letting fellow shooters have a shot each. I did tease him about the finish. Yeech!
I think ti would look good nickel plated or whatever silvery finish that matches the shine of Ti Nitride, and have Ti-Nitride accents and pearl grips, but I think a plain Ti-Nitride and those black grips just don't work.
I would love to have that gun just for fun! Doesn't anyone else think it would be a blast shooting cinder blocks and other targets with such a huge bullet, and such a big gun that tames those hot loads?
I dunno, I think it would be a lot of fun... A lot of people badmouth Desert Eagles, but if you can afford to buy one in addition to your carry gun, just for fun, why not? I can't though...
Funny...I remember titanium looking more like aluminum than rust, and I inhaled enough titanium dust on one summer job to remember the stuff fairly clearly...but I supposed if they called that the "rust finish", it wouldn't sell as well...
