That would be BROWNINGS 150 years, not the Hi-Power?

Has to be 150th of his DOB. Couldn't be anything else. It would have made more sense to commemorate the anniversary of the HP.

    Barrel looks to be stainless.

He died in 1926. It was the 150th anniversary of his birth.

It's a staggered mag, not double stack, and 4.6" barrel, not 5".

How does a guy with so little attention to detail get his hands on such a nice gun? How did he manage to look this up in the bluebook without screwing something up?

    The ad says it's stainless.

The "150th Anniversary" is Browning's 150th, not the HPs. I have a couple of the hats that Browning put out that have the same "150" logo as the gun.

It's a real edition of the HP put out by Browning, nothing subversive there. The guy who wrote the ad didn't know an awful lot about HPs, but that's par for the course.
