Fun with the ACLU. Wanna have some fun this CHRISTMAS? Send the ACLU a CHRISTMAS card!

As they are working so very hard to get rid of the CHRISTMAS part of this holiday, we should all send them a nice CHRISTIAN card to brighten up their dark, sad, little world. Make sure it says "MERRY CHRISTMAS" on it.

Two tons of Christmas cards would freeze their operations because they wouldn't know if any were regular mail containing contributions. So spend 39 cents and tell the ACLU to leave CHRISTMAS alone. Also tell them that there is no such thing as a Holiday tree....it's a

And, considering that the ACLU works every day to defend the rights of Christians, it's what you might call misguided on top of off-topic. Why are so many people around here so desperate to attack the groups that defend their civil rights? NRA, ACLU, and others get bashed constantly

I agree, I think many Christians attack the ACLU because of fundamentalist (politically) preachers. I get kind of disillusioned sometimes with the American church because it seems that they spend so much money fighting groups like the ACLU and pushing political issues when they could be spending the money on helping the poor, supporting missionaries, evangelism, and other things.

And before the flame comes on, I am a conservative Christian when it comes to biblical principles, but one of the benefits of Legal and Political is that it has helped me to see how what I used to believe when it came to politics was actually me trying to force my religious viewpoints on others.
