Hiya Guys :) .

I guess that the old addage of, You learn something new every day is true, or at least more obvious some days more than others.

Anyhoo, a month or so ago I had the chance to pick up a nice PPS in 7.62 Tokarev that I thought would take a nice addition to my collection because I could make brass for it & load for it. Unfortunately I got hosed on the deal for it & missed it. I ended up scratching it up in the That Sucks column and moving on to other things.

Two of the things that I've added to my collection since then are a really nice pair of Remington 1851 Navy bp revolvers, one of which is a really nice Pieta from Italy. Other than knowing they mostly make a lot of nice cowboy action stuff I didn't know much about them or what they were about, so when this cool little Puma PPS 50 in .22LR popped up on the local gun Grapevine it got my attention since I dedicated one of my gun safes to my 22 collection and my Russian firearms, but when I found out that it was made by Pieta' I did a double take & had to look into it. Thankfully in over at forgotten weapons has this cool little review of it on his YouTube page :) .

After scene Ian's video on it I made arrangements with the gentleman that had it to get a Hands-On look at it and I ended up bringing it home for just over 3 Ben Franklin's & it came with a couple hundred rounds of CCI stingers. It's a neat little 22 and will make a nice addition to my collection and I really like the look of it. It's in really nice condition and the action is buttery smooth and it has less than one brick of shells run thru it. Not only will it be cheap to feed but it should be a hoot to play with :) ...

Rats , I've been all over the interweb trying to find some extra stick mags to order for this little PPS, but it looks like about the only thing available right now AR 50 round drum magazines like the one that came with for about $70 a piece . I think I'll just wait and see if Midway or brownells get more of the stick mags in stock before I order any drums for it.
