I picked this Up for part of the Wifey's Christmas this week. I think she will be excited. I Now need one of those cool All Aluminum (Pink anodized) Billet 30rd Mags that are about $70 to put the Icing on the Cake. I Might Pick up a Pink Stock Cricket for the daughter to Have when she's old enough to shoot.

It's hideous to me, but if it's beautiful to her, than that's all that matters. Then again, I've never been a fan of pink.

Though, is there a "HIS" to go along with the "HERS"? :p

She'd better like it!

And that, my friends, is the meaning of my signature line. ;)

When I buy my wife a hot pink 10/22 to shoot with....

I knew a guy in Benchrest who used to shoot a pink rifle for a while. A retired Colonel. Flew gun ships. Kicked our butts regularly. No one teased him about it. :)

Thankfully he moved on to other rifles, so at least we were not getting beaten by a pink rifle anymore. :D

how could you hunt with something like that sticking out.your in the woods in your camouflage gear so the deer can't see you but WAIT!!! says the other deer(deer #1's friend of course)whats that ugly pink thing doing there.....

In your bright orange camoflauge, that is?

Deer are color-blind. And they have no fashion sense anway.

BTW whoever came up with the idea of making the Crickett in pink.....deserves some sort of award from the NRA. I've never seen so many young females interested in shooting before.

LOL..... I don't thing they are going to be deer hunting with that 10/22. As for the colored mags you can buy the clear ones and use fabric dye to make them any color you want on the cheap. I gave my GF a purple 10/22 last year with Tac Sol purple barrel and dyed the mags to match. Ugly as all get out but she loved it.

ok..just replace deer with mole then...duhh!!

I'm just sitting here admiring your bench. Similar to mine in its unusual nature: You've got your pink gun, your gun powder, prescription drugs, open Coke can -- did I mention the pink gun -- and a multitude of reloading components....

Congrats on a lovely display for a lovely firearm, heh heh.

(except for the pink gun) sounds like all the proper components for proper stress reduction therapy of the gunny kind.

personally if i showed up with a pink gun MY wife would say "that better be for you, because it sure as H$!! ain't gonna be mine!" of course my wife's only request so far for a "gun for her" was for a Retro-style AR so she could have in her words "a gun like they'd have given me if i'd re-enlisted" (she was in THE last class of female soldiers to go through basic without weapons training)

Crazy4Nitro:

You could contact your local Mary Kay cosmetics distributor (some drive pink cars) and ask them how much they will pay for about 20 of those matching pink, handy, lightweight weapons? :D They would be so 'color-coordinated'!

I'm wondering whether that ammo in the trigger area is a .50 shell from a P-51 (WW2) or possibly a 30 mm. {depleted uranium} round from an A-10 'Warthog' (?).

I'm envious, because my wife's conclusion from my planning to buy something larger than my ancient Savage single-shot .22 is that I've begun to go 'off the
deep end'-but I've never been in the shallow end :scrutiny:.

She: "As for self-defense, what are the chances of You needing (an M-1 carbine, Ruger Mini, HK assault weapon etc) one of Those Here, outside the city, even if there were a riot...?"

Well...she almost got a Phd in Voice (music).

i must say, i had to go into the other room to get my welding goggles to recognise the bright pink glow in the picture as a horribly emasculated Ruger 10/22:neener:

Interesting how many people still associate colors as being for men or women. My favorite color has always (since I was 3) been hot pink (and yes I am a guy), so of course I love this rifle. I am sure your wife will too. I have been keeping my eyes on those pink crickets. I figured my niece could use one in a couple of years (so I figured I could buy it now and work out any kinks it might have until she is ready for it :D).
