Sooooooo. Who among us were buying this aluminum revolver because we actually wanted a steel frame revolver but we just HAD to have that extra recoil?

I dunno, there are a lot of people who seem to buy guns for the kick and the blast.
I don't know how else to explain the popularity of cheap commie and nazi surplus guns instead of mild, accurate .22s.
 
Want to know how to spot a newbie with a 629 or most any 44mag pistol at the range. He'll be the one with blood pouring out of the gash in his forehead. Since I've seen it more than once, I assume it's a common occurrance!One was my beloved son in law, who grabbed a plastic baggie of my hot loaded 44 mags that were marked in big block letters, for use in the 1894s only, and loaded them in my Uberti.Only shot one but he shot it one handed....
 
And another way to tell who those people are who haev the newest gun is they are talking all sorts of **** while they walk up to the range line.....blah blah blah. Comparing every piece on the line like they got a pair.

They pull their new gun out and it about hits the floor cause he wasn't holding it correctly at all...or he bought the wrong ammo

You should ask him if he would give a discount because of the frame metal mix up...i mean its gotta be a factory issue and youd have to send it back to get a gender adjustment, its steel or aluminum
 
I like a lot of recoil in a heavy gun. (7.5" Blackhawk, etc) The more the better. But those little airweights are probably too "snappy" for me, even with .38 Specials. I haven't tried one yet, but I have no real desire to either.
