I have been looking into the Daniel Defense 300ISR, an integrally suppressed AR in 300blk.
This item appeals to me as a single stamp rifle that will fill the space in my safe dedicated to a 30cal semi-auto suppressed SBR capable of reaching 500+yds and not exceeding the length of an unsuppressed 16" rifle. I understand this weapon will not technically be an SBR, but has a 10.3in barrel and permanently attached suppressor bringing the length to 16.1
Here are my questions gents: Is a suppressor such as this, generally made by DD or provided by another select manufacturer and then attached? If it is made by DD could it be expected to perform to the same standards as say an AAC or Gemtech?
Am I to hung up on the mystique of integrals? Be honest. My knowledge is based on literature and accounts of others. But IMO the design behind the integral seems to be more efficient for dissipating pressure while also saving length and utilizing space already occupied by the barrel. And this is a removable monocore.
Is there a cheaper DIY option?
Trust me, none of these questions stem from lack of searching. I just get paranoid I've missed something that someone else has discovered, and much more enjoy a conversationally based query to an internet search.

I am 99% certain the DD does not manufacture suppressors so I would guess that they are using one from another manufacturer. However, knowing DD's quality, I assure you that they would not "settle" for an inferior can.
